A System error message appeared when composing emails

After clicking the Compose button, a system error message such as [ Word has encountered a problem ] appeared.

Possible reasons for the trouble

The system error occurs under the circumstances below.

  1. You composed an email soon after starting Windows.
  2. You composed an email soon after opening Outlook or this tool.
  3. You composed an email soon after closing a word document for the body of an email.
  4. A word document is opened.
  5. A Word document contains a text box.

Resolution for the trouble

For A, B, C

Try composing the email again a few minutes later, and you can make it without problems. If the error still occurs, please reboot your PC.

For D

After closing the word document, open this tool and compose emails. Please check that any other files are not open.

For E

If your Word document contains a text box, you will get an error when composing an email. Please remove text boxes from your document.

In One to One Email, data is not inserted

When composing One to One Emails, data is not inserted correctly.

Possible reasons for the trouble

  • The characters that you typed are incorrect.
  • You set the merge fields under text with many hyperlinks.

Resolution for the trouble

Please check that the characters you typed for the merge fields are correct and that you have not entered characters in double-byte characters.

When composing One to One email, if you set the merge fields under many hyperlinks, it will not insert data correctly. If you have many hyperlinks on the document, please put them before the hyperlinks.

My Outlook.com account has been locked

I have been using an Outlook.com account for email. When I sent out emails all at once with WOEMAIL, my Outlook.com account has been locked.

Possible reasons for the trouble

  • A large number of emails were delivered in a short period and were determined to be spam.
  • Suddenly sent a large number of e-mails, sent e-mails more frequently, or had other unusual activity.

Microsoft describes when an Outlook account is locked as follows.
“Your Outlook.com account might be temporarily blocked because we noticed some unusual sign-in activity. We know that having your account blocked is frustrating, but we also want to protect you from fraud or abuse. Here’s how to unblock your account.”

If there is unusual activity, such as suddenly sending a large number of emails or sending them more frequently, the account is likely to be locked due to suspicion of account hijacking, etc.

Since Outlook is not an application designed exclusively for sending bulk emails, sending a large number of messages may overload the mail server and causing the server to go down. The bulk emails may be judged as “spam mail” by Internet providers or carriers and are not delivered or delayed.

Resolution for the trouble

You can specify the intervals for sending emails in the Send Out feature. Sending at intervals can reduce the risk of being judged as spam.

The body of the email was replaced with a different content

While auto-composing emails were running, I tried to share a link on another app. It replaced the body of the email with the copied link.

Possible reasons for the trouble

You did other work while the process is running.

Resolution for the trouble

If you do any other work while the process is running, the process will not run correctly. Please wait until the processing is complete without doing any work.
